Recommendations on how to care for your jewelry.

Material Care Quick Reference

Ammolite

Avoid exposure to direct heat. Do not over expose to water. Avoid hard impacts. Do not clean in ultrasonic cleaners. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth to clean.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver mixed with other metals. Sterling Silver will tarnish, especially when exposed to salt air and products containing sulfur, such as rubber bands and some papers. However, silver that is regularly used typically needs less care.

Clean with warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap. You can use a very soft toothbrush to help remove grime, but apply gentle pressure to avoid scratching your jewellery. For stubborn dirt, use a cleaner specifically for silver use.

Sterling Silver: Rhodium Plating

We recommend polishing your gold pieces with a jewellery cloth and cleaning with warm, soapy water and a soft toothbrush as required. Never use Silver Cleaning solutions, as these will breakdown and remove the rhodium plating.

Sterling Silver: Yellow Gold Plating

We recommend polishing your gold pieces with a jewellery cloth and cleaning with warm, soapy water and a soft toothbrush as required. Never use Silver Cleaning solutions, as these will breakdown and remove the rhodium plating.

14k Gold

Body oils and other materials will build up on your jewellery from regular wear. We recommend polishing your gold pieces with a jewellery cloth and cleaning with warm, soapy water and a soft toothbrush as required.
